What is VEP

VEP is an educational group that provides courses aimed at mature-aged students wanting to return to study or prepare for a vocational entrance exam.Currently VEP is focusing on running courses for students wanting to sit the Special Tertiary Admissions Test STAT. Our aim is to OPEN THE DOOR to further study which will enable students to fulfil their ambitions and achieve their goals.

Meeting the minimum course requirement does not mean you will gain entry

The mature-age entry is just as competitive as the year 12 entries.

Many university courses have extra requirements and fighting through the maze of what is needed and when, can be a challenge in itself. This is because the nature of the mature-aged student is so complex. The universities, to their great credit, are casting a huge net when they look for mature-aged students, and in that net they catch all manner of people.

VEP keeps up-to-date with course requirements for mature-age entry, liaising with course selection officers and first year co-ordinators. These questions are not straightforward for the mature-age student but VEP can help give you the answers.
